Alpine Chapel's New Home

Our new home for Alpine Chapel is finished and we had our first service yesterday. It is truly an amazing story to have a church built in the town of Telluride. If you have ever spent any time here, you know that it is a major ordeal to have anything built in this town. For years our church has met in different places, but it is nice to have a chapel that is our home. The church was built by Koenig Construction Services. The Koenig's are also church members and our friends. I don't even know how many people were involved in the whole development and who all needs to be thanked, but of course above everything else, God is the one to thank for this huge accomplishment!
I thought I had some better "before" pictures taken after we moved here, but I can't find them. There are lots of photos on the Alpine Chapel website. The chapel is located at 122 S. Aspen and service is held on Sunday morning at 10 a.m.

Awesome building, timeless architecture. Hope the interior acoustics are as good as the chapel looks.

Beautiful church in a beautiful setting! Thanks for sharing Lisa. I'm a teacher and mom of 3 in Denton, Tx. We hiked from Yankee Boy Basin to the Blue Lakes last summer.
