A Few More Needles

Our trip to the Needles district of Canyonlands National Park started with the Visitors' Center and a picnic. The Wooden Shoe Arch.
Needles in the distance.
Desert glow.
Twisted tree off of the Joint Trail.
View from the top of S.O.B. Hill.
The Park Rangers' Rubicon. Not every National Park Ranger needs this type of vehicle, but they certainly need it here!

Lisa, I'm very impressed with your photos in SE Utah. There isn't a place like this on earth, and very blessed that we live in an area to experience this scenery & terrain. BTW, did you try your door keys on the Park Service Rubicon? Could've saved some fuel in the sandstone wilderness... :-p
