Grizzly Bear on Dunraven Pass (August 18)
While driving north on Dunraven Pass there was a crowd of people and cars parked all over the roadside. We were hoping it was for a grizzly bear sighting! The grizzly was around 200 yards from the road, minding his own business in the flowers, occasionally turning over rocks in search of a snack.

WOW - a grizzly in yellow flowers! How exciting. I've never been close to one, but I bet it's heart pounding. (I'd be glad the car is nearby.)
Very cool pics of the grizzly Lisa! I love the yellow flowers too.
