Last Thursday we had our first winter snowstorm, and it was a special treat since we still have our autumn leaves. The electricity went out for a few hours, so I was able to get away from the computer and take a bunch of photos.
Bridal Veil Falls is in the shade here, but....
this is what it looked like just a few days earlier.
When I was in the Aldasoro Ranch area, a badger ran across the road and then turned around and looked at me.
All of the photographs on this blog were taken by me unless otherwise noted. If you would like to use any of these, please contact me at mtsrool@gmail.com. Thanks!

Welcome to my blog! I live in beautiful Telluride, Colorado with my husband and three kids. I started blogging for family and friends to keep up with what we have been doing and it has kind of turned into an on-line diary for myself also full of my favorite photos.

Fall colors look lovely on the mountain side. Same here in AZ. Sedona hiking trips now look colorful with the changing colors of the leaves.
why did the badger cross the road? so you could get his good side...ha!
Beautiful pictures...thanks for sharing..
Aspens with snow are great, but the badger pic is super.
