This year the Bluegress Festival tickets sold out in record time. I was able to get tickets for Thursday and that was really the only day I wanted to go in. There were more people here than ever!
Bela Fleck and Chris Thile kicked off the fest with their version of Thelma & Louise.
We always stop in at Mama's Home Tie-Dyes for some cute clothes and have some fun hulu-hooping. We also stop at Sister's Pantry for wontons and dumplings.
Laura Marling recently toured many of the British Cathedrals.
Funny storyteller John Prine.
I was excited for Alison Krauss and Union Station. Alison Krauss has won 27 Grammys, more than any single living person. My favorites were "Down to the River to Pray" and "I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow" from O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Next year the Bluegrass Festival will be a huge one since it will be the 40th. Looking forward to it!
