Maggie Gulch

Maggie Gulch is a nice Jeep trail near Silverton, about 4 miles long, one way in, one way out.  The trail quickly climbs into the alpine tundra.  The waterfall above is the Maggie Creek waterfall draining out of the gulch.

The wildflowers are still doing well in Maggie Gulch, close to 12,000 feet in elevation here.

The end of the road takes you to the Intersection Mill and Mine built in the 1890's, and still has the stamp battery intact.

If you are Jeeping in the Silverton area and want to try a short, less traveled trail, Maggie Gulch is a great one!
