We finally had some pretty consistent spring weather in time for the 31st Telluride Balloon Festival. Mother's Day had brought us a very snowy day that felt like February, and we even had snow on the ground the morning of May 25, and a little snow on the peaks the night of June 8 after the Balloon Festival was over. The warmer weather definitely makes me feel like getting the camera out more often!
The geese were a little flustered while the balloons kept landing near the ponds.
There was a nice double rainbow after the rains in the evening June 8, the same storm that brought more snow to the peaks.
The best thing that happened recently, though, was Garrett was home on leave for a couple of weeks!!
